The Hindu Kush-Karakoram-Himalayan region in northern Pakistan where most of the communities which IBT serve, is home to high mountain peaks and the largest number of glaciers out of the polar region. Because of the geology and geography the region is prone to monster flooding and earthquakes. IBT is committed to provide whatever humanitarian aid it can in times of disasters.
